This Bailey Approach SE 740 motorhome was treated to a full exterior paint and gelcoat correction detail, followed by the application of a ceramic coating to help protect the finish and make future cleaning easier.
Motorhomes, campervans, caravans and other recreational vehicles are constantly exposed to the elements. Large white gelcoat and painted panels can quickly become dull, stained and weathered, especially on the roof, rear panels, side walls and around trims. This project focused on restoring clarity, gloss and protection across the exterior surfaces of the vehicle.
The exterior of this Bailey motorhome required careful attention across multiple large panels. Unlike standard cars, motorhomes and leisure vehicles have a combination of paint, gelcoat, plastic trims, windows, decals and textured areas, all of which need to be treated correctly.
The correction process helped reduce dullness, staining and oxidation from the white exterior panels, restoring a brighter and cleaner appearance. Particular care was taken around decals, windows, locker doors, trims and panel edges to ensure the finish was improved safely and evenly.
Gelcoat surfaces on motorhomes, caravans and RVs can become chalky or faded over time due to UV exposure, road grime, rainwater staining and general weathering. A tailored correction process was used to improve the finish without being overly aggressive on the surface.
This helped bring back shine and depth to the Bailey’s exterior, improving the overall presentation of the vehicle while preparing the surface properly for ceramic protection.
Once the correction work was completed, the exterior was protected with a ceramic coating. This provides a durable protective layer designed to help repel dirt, water and road contamination, while also making routine washing and maintenance easier.

This project included work across the front cab area, side panels, rear panel, mirrors, bumpers and roof sections. The mirror casing and exterior plastics were also carefully cleaned and refined, helping the vehicle look fresher from every angle.
The large white body panels now have a much cleaner, glossier appearance, with improved reflections and a more protected finish ready for future use.
